Sometimes they even do both in the same setting! They are depicted as either brave or heroic, freedom-loving swashbucklers or as bloodthirsty criminals. They are pirates!įor better or worse, pirates have left an indelible mark on cultures around the world. They reave and plunder ships and cities, and some have even built empires that span the seas. With One Piece: World Seeker releasing earlier this year, we started thinking about all of the pirate games we’ve played, and which are our favorites.įor thousands of years, they have been the scourge of those who sail the ocean. When Zendar was razed to the ground by a great horde of sea raiders, Stavros fled the burning city in a crowd of refugees. Stavros' leadership and prowess were instrumental in ridding the area of the dreaded river pirates, but even he was powerless against the calamity that befell the city. Stavros was born in the independent city-state of Zendar, and spent much of his adult life serving in the town watch under the famous constable Hareck.
Eventually he joined a mercenary group, rose in the ranks and became it's leader.ĭuring the setting of Warband he is working with manhunters to rid the lands of bandits and other outlaws. Stavros fled the city with other refugees.Īfter fleeing the city Stavros, for a brief moment, wandered around Calradia doing odd jobs here and there. Though the inhabitants of Zendar tried their best to defend the city against the outlaws, it finally fell to a horde of sea raiders who burned the whole city down to the ground.
He worked as a town watchman under Constable Hareck Stavros hails from Zendar, a former independent city-state, that was pestered by river pirates.
